The old town of Albufeira with its cobbled streets, restaurants,bars, boutiques and beautiful beaches is 3km away-5 min by car/taxi.

The main nightlife is centred around the main square and the narrow streets leading from it.There is a wide choice of restaurants and the streets are lined with bars to suit all ages. For a more lively night out, take a taxi (or the land train in Summer) to "The Strip",a street packed with shops, bars and restaurants which eventually leads down to another beautiful beach.

 A tunnel through the rocks leads from the main street to the beautiful  golden sandy beach. Further along, there is a promenade which has been recently renovated with marble paving and decked areas lined with bars and restaurants and overlooks the beautiful Fishermens beach.

Our apartment is situated in the upmarket residential area of Sesmarias, 3km west of Albufeira Old town, just a short drive through the spectacular new Marina.Take the footpath with beautiful coastal views to Albufeira stopping off along the way at a cafe or one of the viewpoints.

There is a supermarket which sells a variety of English products and papers and a bakery within 5 mins walking distance of our apartment.
City bar alongside the supermarket has pool tables and internet. There is also a Chinese restaurant/take-away. There are several other bars and restaurants nearby within walking distance. 

Our local beaches have spectacular rock formations.
